$2,000 a month?

I thought I’d do a quick update of the results of my affiliate marketing business post from a couple of weeks ago.

Right now I’ve earned $189.76 USD in just over 5 weeks. I’ve only got 3 sites up and running and producing revenue at the moment, although I have a larger number of sites actually completed. Of the 3 sites only 1 of them has been running for the full 5 weeks. The other 2 are about 2 weeks old (actually just over 2 weeks).

So that’s not a clear indication of what each site will produce, but what it does tell me is that the technique works. Those sites are sitting there producing revenue and I haven’t touched them since creating them. The sites I do now I can usually do within 90 minutes so it’s really not much work at all.

If we took a simple view and said I had 30 sites similar to my existing ones, I’d expect to be seeing close to $2,000 dollars in that time period. Not too shabby- apart from this one thing:

I’ve learned more about how to do this and I’m better at it now than I was just a few weeks ago. I think I can get better results than I have with those first sites. I’ll have proof of that over the next month or so.

So keep an eye open for a more detailed analysis of the results later.
