Dreamweaver Drag and Drop

I read a question recently on a popular forum and it looked like a couple of the people who answered weren’t quite sure what the question meant.
I made a reply on the forum, but as I was doing so it occurred to me that the person asking might usefully find it easier to watch what a ‘layer’ is in Dreamweaver, rather than have it explained. Sometimes, seeing 5 seconds of something can replace minutes of reading.
To make it easy to show the video I’m using this blog because it has audio and video facilities built in.
Here it is:

I enjoyed your video because I was wondering if I could do that. So I am deciding to buy it. More videos. Is it worth buying? Currently using iweb that came with my mac. fimiliar with html code but not really proficent with it.
If this is worth buying somebody let me know. thanks
Hi Kmarsh
I used Camtasia, which is not available for the Mac, but there’s a similar program called Snapz Pro. You can get that at http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/
Thinking about it, I wonder if you’re asking whether Dreamweaver is worth buying? For me it was, because I do a lot of web development work, but it’s pretty expensive and it may be overkill for what you do. It also takes a bit of time to get used to all the facilities.
There are much cheaper and easier products, but it depends on what you need to do. The best thing is to work out what features you need and then look for the software that will meet those needs.
