Election Fever

So the world now knows who will be the next US president.

What I know is that Adsense revenues were down a long way yesterday, presumably because so many people were scouring the internet for information about the election results and the next president.

I’m seeing that things are returning to normal again today, as far as revenue is concerned. It’ll be interesting to see what happens over the next few days. Will people feel more secure and start clicking more, or will they sink back into that worried state that almost everyone has had recently?

We’ll see.

One thing’s for sure, there are often external circumstances that can affect your income. So it makes sense to build as many different, resilient, income streams as you can.
