James,

I got started doing script installs for people, several years ago. There's still a huge demand for it - a lot of people just don't want to learn technical stuff and they're willing to pay for that. If you have techie skills I think you could do pretty well just hitting that market - as you said on your blog, focus on what you know and what you do well. That's good advice for anyone.

Good luck with getting your kids to be your outsource staff - my two won't go near the computer, unless it's for Facebook and MSN!

Have a look at Instant Blog Wizard and if you have any questions let me know on the support desk - it has an affiliate program paying 50% recurring commissions so it might be something suitable for you to promote and the price is going up in a week or two to $67 a month. I'll probably let up to 50 people in at that level and then up it again to $97. It's not a membership I want huge numbers signing up to so increasing the price will help to keep out the not so serious.

Amin

P.S. I find it hard to move about too much since I fell down a spiral staircase a few months back and hurt my knee pretty badly. It swells up like a balloon if I do much walking. It's a good job I work from home!

Hi Amin

Housemove, Flooding, Poweroutages, and illness, honestly i thought it was only me that got that sort of luck. (Luck of the Reilly's) is a bad luck thing here in the UK lol.

I looked into outsourcing, i still don't trust people yet, i cant detatch myself from my sites. I offer it now to my subscribers, i didnt before but a video i made to show a mate online how to do a wordpress install ended up being used as webinar content and that got some rave reviews, miffed yes but it gave me a confidence boost. I love the technical side of things, installing scripts, setting them up and all that.

My goal this year is to put a system for myself in place, i used to use systems all the time, i dont know why i dont do it online. if i can put my system in place then i can duplicate it for others so its easier for me to show how i want things done then i can maybe consider outsourcing.

Then again i have 5 kids, theres my Webdesigner, article writer, backlink marketer, listbuilder and script installer all raring to go, once they each reach 10 years old that is.

I hope the illnesses weren't too bad, i took medical retirement from the army due to being diabetic, it kinda keeps me at home now so gives me that freedom to be online anytime, just trying to future proof the house now.

I'm interested in your automatic niche blog builder, im pushing those that im working with to use wordpress as a business starting point, its so good to work with and so viral when you want it to be.

Thanks for letting me ramble
